§ Sir W. Smilesasked the Minister of Transport if he will take action to reduce the delay in rail and steamer transport of linen thread from Lisburn, Northern Ireland, to Northampton, copies of correspondence on the delay of 11 days and longer having already been sent to him.
§ Mr. BarnesThe inquiries which I have made show that the delay which occurred to the consignments in question was due to congestion on the quays at Liverpool which has now been largely cleared.
