§ 122. Mr. McGovernasked the Minister of Transport if he will call for a police report on the number of persons either killed or injured by S.M.T. buses or large motor lorries passing through the streets of Shettleston or Tollcross; and if he will take steps to prevent these vehicles from exceeding the speed limit and have the drivers who do so prosecuted.
§ Mr. Barnes,pursuant to his reply (OFFICIAL REPORT, 16th February, 1948; Vol. 447, c. 160), supplied the following information
The numbers of persons killed and injured by omnibuses and commercial vehicles on the principal traffic routes in the Shettleston and Tollcross districts of Glasgow since 1st January, 1947, are as follows:
