§ Mr. Mainwaringasked the Minister of Labour upon what grounds a decision has been arrived at precluding disabled ex-miners of 55 years of age and over from obtaining employment at any of the Grenfell factories.
§ Mr. IsaacsThese factories are being let to employers as ordinary industrial undertakings, and I understand that at the first factory to be opened at Llwynypia the employer does not propose in the initial stages to recruit above the age of 55. But there has been no general decision to exclude disabled ex-miners of 55 years of age or over from the Grenfell factories.
