§ Mr. StracheyNearly all the wines remaining to be delivered from France under arrangements made in 1947 are still table wines, which are not subject to agreed maximum retail prices. Arrangements for further imports of French wines in 1948 are not yet complete and the effects of the devaluation of the French currency will certainly be taken into account.
