§ Mr. BarnesDuring the twelve-weekly rationing period ended 23rd December, 1947, fuel coupons were issued to bus and coach operators to cover: say, 16 million gallons of petrol, and 33 million gallons of diesel oil. The issues during the corresponding period in 1946 are calculated at: 17½ million gallons of petrol; 29⅓ million gallons of diesel oil.326W Separate figures for buses and coaches on scheduled services, and those not on such services, are not available.
