He will see that the revenue of the Newfoundland Government has exceeded its expenditure since 1941. The National Debt per head of the population of Newfoundland, Canada and the United Kingdom is as follows:—Newfoundland, approximately 218 dollars; Canada, 1,037 dollars; United Kingdom, £536.
