§ 70. Mr. Henderson Stewartasked the Parliamentary Secretary to the Admiralty if he has any statement to make on the future of the Boys' Training Centre, H.M.S. "Bruce," at Crail, Fife.
§ Mr. W. EdwardsH.M.S. "Bruce," which was formerly the Royal Naval Air Station at Crail, has been in use temporarily as a Boys' Training Establishment since May, 1947. It has now been found possible to receive all the boy entries in the two regular Boys' Training Establishments and H.M.S. "Bruce" will close in the autumn of 1949 when the boys now under training have completed their courses. It will be maintained as a reserve air station.
