§ Mr. J. FreemanIt is estimated that the Bristol Medium Range (Empire) type will prove superior to the Constellation 249 in regard to maximum payload, still air range, and normal cruising speed. If a production order is placed before the end of this year, the type should be in operational service by 1954.
