§ Mr. WoodburnI informed local authorities in a circular dated 7th April that I should be glad to have particulars of cases affecting shop tenancies where it appeared to them that the circumstances would justify consideration of the use of requisitioning powers. So far as I am aware, the procedure to be followed is generally understood and no confusion has been caused by the circular.
