§ 24. Mr. Sorensenasked the Minister of Town and Country Planning how many persons have applied for prospective tenancy for houses to be erected at Harlow; mainly from what areas these applications have been made; and when some indication will be given to the applicants in respect of their priority and the probability of houses being available for them.
§ Mr. SilkinInquiries of the sort referred to in the first and second parts of the Question are dealt with by the local authorities concerned and consequently the specific information asked for is not in my possession. I am aware, however, that numerous applications have been received, particularly from North-East London. On the third part of the Question, applicants will be given definite information as soon as possible but it would be premature to attempt to allocate priorities at present.
