asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer how many times the Economic Planning Board has met since 7th July, 1947; and the number of occasions on which the Board has brought representatives of both sides of particular industries into consultation with it, and the names of those industries.

The Economic Planning Board has met nineteen times since 7th July, 1947; as a matter of general policy I am not prepared to state what subjects have been considered by the Board or what persons have been present at their deliberations.
