§ Colonel Crosthwaite-Eyreasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer what action has now been taken by His Majesty's Government in view of the fears expressed by France and the Benelux countries at recent conferences, at the size of Britain's wartime sterling debts, to effect a proper settlement of these debts so that sterling can participate in a Western European currency agreement.
