§ Mr. P. Noel-BakerThe Governments of India and. Pakistan will provide the funds required for the maintenance of Christian cemeteries up to the end of March, 1948. After that date, it is proposed that the United Kingdom High Commissioners in the two Dominions, in co-operation with the Christian Churches and unofficial bodies who may be interested, should supervise the maintenance of the cemeteries. The nature of the organisation to be set up, and the arrangements for furnishing it with funds, are under consideration.
