asked the Minister of Supply whether he will reintroduce the system, prevalent prior to April, 1945, whereby there was a separate collection of all forms of scrap metal.

Owing to its nature, domestic scrap metal has only limited uses, and I am satisfied that it is not necessary to reintroduce the special arrangements to which the hon. Member refers,
