HC Deb 28 October 1947 vol 443 cc47-8W
74. Vice-Admiral Taylor

asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether, in view of the forthcoming sale of the "Nelson" relics in Trafalgar House, he will take steps to acquire them for the nation.

Mr. Dalton

I am glad to hear that there is no question of any immediate sale of these relics, and that the Trustees of the National Maritime Museum are in touch with Lord Trafalgar as representing the family.
