Mr. Shephardasked Mr. Chancellor of the Exchequer if he is aware that many ex-Service men have invested their savings in petrol filling stations and small garages, and that as a consequence of the abolition of the basic petrol ration, they will be deprived of their living; and what steps the Government propose to take to compensate these people for the loss they will incur.
