§ 101. Mr. A. Edward Daviesasked the Minister of Transport whether his attention has been drawn to the outstanding payments due to the late European Central Inland Transport Organisation; and what action is being taken by the British Government to secure payment and to discharge the organisation's indebtedness to the staff.
§ Mr. CallaghanThe attention of the Governments concerned has been repeatedly drawn to their obligations. The Organisation is now in process of liquidation and I cannot say to what extent the sums due to the staff will be discharged. The liquidator will continue to press the Governments who are in arrear for payment.
