§ 103. Mr. Mulveyasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department whether Mr. Gore, ex-postmaster of Bangor, Co. Down, and Messrs. Wills and Lyons, ex-postal officials acting with a head constable of the Royal Ulster Constabulary, at the Censorship of Mails in Room 22 of Belfast G.P.O., receive any salaries for this work, in addition to their Civil Service pensions; and whether they do any ordinary postal work.
§ Mr. YoungerMy right hon. Friend understands that the persons named are now employed and paid by the Government of Northern Ireland and that they do not perform any ordinary postal work. They are in receipt of pensions from the General Post Office which are subject to abatement by reason of their present employment with the Northern Ireland Government.
