§ 2. Mr. Turtonasked the President of the Board of Trade whether he is aware that in the first nine months of this year, less than 4 per cent. of our total exports of locomotives and rolling stock were sold to the Argentine Republic; and what steps he is now taking to increase such exports so as to encourage the importation of feedingstuffs from the Argentine.
§ Mr. H. WilsonYes. As regards the second part of the Question, I hope that the discussions about to open in Buenos Aires between the British Trade Mission and the Argentine authorities will pave the way for a steady expansion of exports to the Argentine of British goods of all kinds, including railway equipment.
