asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department what was the cost of administration of the Commissioners of Church Temporalities in Wales for the last financial year; what is the amount of property and other assets they now have to deal with; and what compensation is payable to the paid Commissioners and their staff on the disbandment of their office.

Administrative expenses for the year ending 31st December last were £10,933. Assets still to be dealt with total £24,292; compensation to remaining staff will cost £10,554. No compensation is payable to any of the Commissioners.
