Major Legge-Bourkeasked the Minister of Transport if he is aware that members of the British South African Police on leave in this country are unable to obtain any assurance of return shipping berths to enable them to have their full entitlement of time in this country consistent with their returning to duty on the correct date; and if he will give these men the same facilities as Government servants on leave.
§ Mr. CallaghanThe High Commissioner for Southern Rhodesia who is responsible for these passages assures me that members of the Police are given the same facilities as other Southern Rhodesian Government servants on leave.
