Miss Leeasked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs why no licence is obtainable from the British authorities in Germany to import a first consignment of 250,000 herring, which is ready to be shipped from Holland to the industrial areas in the British zone of Germany, the cost of the consignment being borne by charitable organisations and private persons in the U.S.A.; and whether he will review this decision.
