§ 90. Mr. Sparksasked the Minister of National Insurance why unemployment insurance benefit has been disallowed to five employees of Messrs. Adrema, Limited, East Acton, who were dismissed by their employers for distributing in their own time a handbill, a copy of which has been sent to him, adjacent to the firm's goods at the British Industries Fair, drawing attention to the existence of a trade dispute at the firm's factory; and if he will arrange for the payment of unemployment insurance benefit in these cases.
§ Mr. SteeleBenefit has been disallowed by the insurance officer in one of these cases and the others are still under examination. My right hon. Friend has no power to interfere with the decisions of the insurance officer but as my hon. Friend no doubt knows, there is a right of appeal to the Court of Referees and, in certain circumstances, to the Umpire.
