§ Mr. WestwoodA Local Government (Scotland) Bill consolidating the law in regard to various aspects of local government is at present before Parliament. I am anxious that consolidation in regard to other aspects of local government, as well as in other fields, should proceed as quickly as staff and other circumstances permit, and I am considering, in consultation with my right hon. and learned Friend the Lord Advocate, what arrangements can be made towards this end.
