Mr. Hector Hughesasked the Minister of Transport if his attention has been drawn to the Report of his Department's Inspecting Officer of Railways on the accidents on the L.N.E.R., in July, 1946, and on 10th November, 1946, when considerable loss and damage occurred; and what steps he has taken, and will take, to obviate such avoidable accidents and to ensure the safety of the travelling public.
