§ 77. Mr. D. Marshallasked the President of the Board of Trade if he is aware of the acute shortage of tyres for tractors in Cornwall; that this shortage will have a disastrous effect on food production; and if he will expedite delivery.
§ Sir S. CrippsEvery effort is being made to improve supplies of tractor tyres and there has been a progressive increase in the numbers made available for replacements during the last year. Distribution of available supplies is made as evenly as possible over the country according to need, and I am not aware of any special difficulties in Cornwall.
