§ 55. Sir J. Lucasasked the Minister of Agriculture why the rations at the Forestry Commission Hostel, Minley Lodge, Farnborough, Hampshire, have 8W been cut or otherwise reduced; and if, in view of the strenuous nature of the work done by the trainees in residence he will see that they now get the full amount of food formerly obtained.
§ Mr. T. WilliamsThe trainees at Minley Lodge are receiving rations in accordance with an industrial canteen licence which allows a ration in excess of that normally granted to civilians. The rations scale has not been cut; but owing to extreme weather conditions and difficulty of transport there has been a shortage of potatoes, and owing to the electricity cut bread was temporarily short.
