Lewisasked the Assistant Postmaster-General if he is aware that the B.B.C. have refused to recognise a bona fide trade union affiliated to the Trade Union Congress, namely, the National Union of General and Municipal Workers, as the negotiating body on behalf of their workpeople; and what action he proposes to take in connection with this matter.
§ Mr. BurkeI understand that the Governors of the Corporation are reexamining the question of staff representation in the light of Clause 8 of the new Charter. I suggest that my hon. Friend should await the result of that review.
