§ Mr. BurkeA cable fault has interrupted the service of 25 (not 160) subscribers at Middleton, Lancashire exchange. In view of the widespread damage resulting from the severe weather and the presence of explosive gas in the vicinity of the fault it is not possible to forecast the date on which the service All be restored, but I would assure the hon. Member that there will be no avoidable delay.
