asked the Minister of Defence what was the ratio of dental officers per 1,000 of the personnel during the war; and what is it now.

Mr. Alexander

The ratio of dental officers in the Services during the war was, Royal Navy 0.75, Army 0.7 and Royal Air Force 0.73 per 1,000. The corresponding current figures are 1.21, 0.5 and 0.64 respectively.
