§ 63. Sir J. Mellorasked the Minister of Food if, with reference to the expression, "all other powers enabling him," contained in the Canned Fruit and Vegetables (Amendment) Order, S.R. & O., 1947, No. 333, he will identify the powers and explain why the said powers were not specified in the Order.
§ Dr. SummerskillThe expression covers supplementary powers which cannot otherwise be conveniently described without overloading the preamble to the point of becoming cumbersome. In particular it includes, in this instance, the power to vary the previous Order.
