HC Deb 04 March 1947 vol 434 c47W
Mr. Piratin

asked the Secretary of State for War how many British troops are stationed in Denmark; where are they stationed; and for what purpose.

Mr. Bellenger

There are no British field formations in Denmark, but only a few officers and other ranks who include a British Military Mission, a graves registration team, staff for a leave centre and a purchasing team for buying fresh supplies for the Rhine Army. The majority of these troops are stationed in Copenhagen.
