asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether he is continuing the subvention previously made by the Bank of England to the Council of Foreign Bond Holders; and whether he proposes to exercise any supervision on that body

Mr. Dalton

I do not supervise this council, which is a voluntary organisation. I understand that the Bank of England has for many years contributed towards its expenses.
