HC Deb 04 March 1947 vol 434 c48W
97. Sir I. Fraser

asked the Attorney-General how many Assessment Appeal Tribunals have now been set up; and whether he is satisfied that there are sufficient tribunals at work to avoid unnecessary delay in the settling of appeals.

The Attorney-General

Two tribunals to hear assessment appeals have been set up in England, one in Scotland and none as yet in Northern Ireland. I do not consider that there is any unnecessary delay in the hearing of appeals.
