§ 100. Sir Dymoke White
asked the President of the Board of Trade in view of the apprehension felt by farmers, the present position with regard to supplies of potash.
§ Mr. Belcher
Supplies under our potash contracts have been greatly, delayed by conditions in supplying countries particu- 19W larly by the freezing of continental ports and waterways. Everything is being done to import as much as possible by 31st March, but the amount available to farmers will be less than was anticipated.
