§ Mr. R. Mackayasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department whether he proposes to make public the report of the Home Office Inquiry, held in November, 1946, into the conduct of the Chief 45W Constable of Hull; and whether he will also publish the evidence which was given at the inquiry.
§ Mr. EdeNo. Copies of the report have been supplied to the Watch Com-46W mittee of Hull, who are the authority responsible by law for the disciplinary control of the Police Force, and to the Chief Constable, and I do not propose to give the report any further circulation.
