§ Sir S. CrippsOne hundred and sixty-two factories and extensions (of 5,000 sq. ft. and over) had been completed or the firm was in occupation of the premises by the end of May. Of these, 51 were situated in the North Eastern Development Area, nine in West Cumberland, 34 in South Wales, one at Wrexham, five230W in South Lancashire, and 62 in Scotland.
