Wakefieldasked the President of the Board of Trade whether he is aware that much invention in this country today is hindered because inventors are unable to obtain material for models or quotations for production; and whether he will consider establishing some machinery through which inventors can freely obtain such facilities in all reasonable cases.
§ Mr. BelcherI am not aware that invention is being hindered in this way, but if the hon. Member will let me have the details of any particular cases of difficulty, I shall be pleased to look into them. I do not think it is necessary to establish any special machinery to deal with such cases.
