§ 84. Major Bramall
asked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether his attention has been drawn to the fact that in May, 1946, a body, operating in London, was authenticating the documents of Polish subjects with a stamp bearing the words Polish Foreign Office; and whether he is satisfied that this practice has ceased.113W
The Polish Embassy last August brought such a document to my attention. Immediate action was taken on this case, and I have no evidence of the recurrence of such regrettable practices.
