§ Sir S. CrippsWith negligible exceptions, all furniture at present being produced is Utility furniture. Standards for this furniture are laid down in specifications prepared by my Department, and Production Officers, with appropriate technical qualifications, maintain regular contact with all factories producing this furniture. I have no reason to suppose that the standards are not being generally maintained, but, if my hon. Friend will send me particulars of any specific cases of complaint, I will have them investigated.
