asked the Secretary of State for the Colonies whether any estimate has been made of the extent of Income Tax evasion by the Indian community in Kenya; and for what reason the present law that books of accounts must be kept in English, in order to reduce the opportunities for evasion, is not at present enforced so far as the Indian community is concerned.
