§ Mr. ShinwellThe figures for the years 1939, 1943 and 1945 will be found in my Department's Statistical Digest for 1945 (Cmd. 6920), and those for 1946 in the January issue of the Central Statistical Office's Monthly Digest. As regards the second part of the Question, figures of coal production and consumption are issued monthly by my Department and are widely quoted in the Press as well as appearing in the Monthly Digest along with figures for electricity and gas.
