HC Deb 12 February 1947 vol 433 c61W
72. Mr. Osborne

asked the Minister of Food if he is aware of the hardship caused by the recent snowfall to people living in isolated farms and cottages in the Lincolnshire Wolds; and if he will make special arrangements for emergency food supplies to be made available.

Dr. Summerskill

Conditions in the outlying parts of the Lincolnshire Wolds are certainly difficult, but I am informed that so far relief has been given wherever it was needed. I can assure the hon. Member that all preparations have been made to bring help to those in need of food supplies, with the assistance of the R.A.F., if necessary.
