asked the Financial Secretary to the Treasury whether it is the intention of His Majesty's Government to extend to Government industrial workers equal rights to sick pay, pensions and annual leave as enjoyed by non-industrial civil servants.

Mr. Glenvil Hall

The Government regulate the pay and conditions of Government industrial workers by comparison with outside industry. This practice was approved by the House when it passed the Fair Wages Resolution on 14th October last. As to pensions, this subject is being examined by a sub-committee of the Joint Co-ordinating Committee for Government Industrial Establishments.
