§ Mr. Swinglerasked the Minister of Labour what action he is now proposing to take about the 1,250,000 men of working age who are not gainfully occupied and for whom his Department cannot at present account.
§ Mr. IsaacsI really cannot accept the implication that there are 1¼ million men doing nothing worth while. This was discussed at length on the Adjournment Debate on 4th June, when my right hon. Friend the Parliamentary Secretary put the matter in its proper perspective.
