§ Sir G. Foxasked the Minister of Food if he is aware that large quantities of biscuits and Scotch shortbread are exported to Australia, which is not in need of it, and is anxious to send food parcels to this country; and if, instead of exporting biscuits, he will consider recommending the export of crockery and machinery.
§ Mr. StracheyI would refer the hon. Member to the reply which I gave to his Question on 10th February. No biscuits are now being exported to Australia. The last shipment took place in May, 1946.
