Smilesasked the Minister of National Insurance if he is aware that no pension has been paid or new book sent to Miss Isabella Goudy, of Portavo, 49447630, for the last six months, although repeated letters and reminders have been sent; and if he will arrange that this pension is paid without further delay.
§ Mr. J. GriffithsThe hon. Member will no doubt now have received my Department's letter of 11th April about this case. Miss Goudy was awarded a pension in Great Britain which she continued to draw while living in Eire. But since her removal to Northern Ireland the responsibility for payment of her pension rests with the Ministry of Labour and National Insurance in that country to whom the necessary information has now been supplied.
