§ Mr. WestwoodThe operation of sawmills is now, generally speaking, in the hands of private enterprise and the 363W Forestry Commissioners have no means of making a precise estimate of sawn scrap timber. The utilisation of waste wood as fuel is a matter for my right hon. Friend the Minister of Fuel and Power, who informs me that all practicable steps will continue to be taken to secure the fullest use of all suitable material for fuel purposes.
