§ Mr. IsaacsThe employment returns rendered by manufacturing employers for the end of March include information350W about the numbers stood oft or on short time from all causes, but without distinguishing separately the part due to coal shortage. I propose to include information on this subject in the statement on employment' and unemployment to be issued next month.
§ Viscount Corvedaleasked the Minister of Labour the number of unemployed in the Clyde district.
§ Mr. IsaacsAt 10th March, the latest date for which figures are available, there were 37,201 unemployed insured persons on the registers of employment exchanges in the Clyde area.
