HC Deb 30 October 1946 vol 428 c100W
87. Captain Crowder

asked the President of the Board of Trade the average daily attendance at the "Britain Can Make It" Exhibition; how many copies of the exhibition catalogue were printed; and the allocation of catalogues for distribution daily.

Mr. Belcher

The average daily attendance, excluding Sundays, from the 24th September to the 27th October, has been 21,189. The average attendance on Sundays, when the exhibition is open in the afternoon only, has been 7,085. Orders for 330,000 catalogues have been placed, the great bulk of which have been delivered. Sufficient catalogues are now available to meet all demands; there is, therefore, no need to place a limit on the number to be sold each day.
